Pilates
Pilates involves a series of precise movements to strengthen your core muscles while making you more flexible.
Often the class will start with a warmup, either standing or lying down. There will be a series of exercises which often take place lying on the floor. Finally, you will normally do a set of exercises to close the session, often involving stretches and or a return to standing.

Beginners classes
Is Pilates a good workout for beginners?
Absolutely. It is a low impact mind body form of exercise. We connect movement with breath, relaxing the mind while strengthening the body. So if you are not used to exercising regularly, it is a safe and gentle place to begin.
During beginners Pilates classes, you'll focus on learning and perfecting the fundamental Pilates movement techniques.

advanced classes
Advanced pilates builds on foundational techniques, emphasising control, precision, and fluidity in complex exercises. Expect increased intensity, advanced variations, flowing transitions, and the integration of props/equipment. It requires not just physical strength but a deep mind-body connection.
High-intensity pilates can also double as a form of aerobic exercise, enhancing your cardiovascular system and muscle endurance. As you perform more advanced pilates movements, your body will continue to become stronger and more toned, without appearing bigger.
